Supporting the fight for social justice, we (Diane, Sara, and Angharad) are raising money to benefit p:ear, a Portland non-profit that serves homeless and transitional youth here in Portland [and] One of their programs includes a course to learn the basics of bicycle mechanics and prerequisites to entry-level positions in professional bicycle shops.

And with demand for bicycles and safe streets soaring in tandem with fears about the Covid-19 pandemic and a dearth of outdoor public spaces, Portland's 100-mile network of traffic-calmed residential roads have become a lifeline.
